Client/Job Information: We have been asked to identify candidates for this key job within our clients Lancaster area production facility. As a rapidly growing manufacturer of unique technology products, their manufacturing issues run the gamut from traditional commodity to high-tech systems to job-shop production. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this job will initially have plant level supply chain responsibilities but will eventually be geared to a multi-plant role. You will supervise all related plant materials function; planning, purchasing and warehousing. These are currently small groups but will expand as you design and implement systems appropriate to my client's needs. This position is part of a plant modernization program and will have visibility at the executive level.
Candidate Requirements: We need a BS/BA degree and 10+ years of sophisticated plant supply chain / materials management experience. You should be capable of exhibiting the leadership traits required to manage a small team but should also have the ability to work strategically as the job requires. You should definitely be promotable beyond this job.

Client/Job Information: We have been retained by this Lancaster area based $200,000,000+/year consumer products manufacturer to identify candidates for this newly created position. Our client has used the last two years to acquire new products and companies and those acquisitions have created to need for an Engineer / Project Manager to handle a portfolio of products. You will have dotted line engineering responsibility for all design efforts on your product lines and will work closely with marketing and supply chain to insure successful product insertion into our client's sales channel. This highly visible position will report to an Executive VP and will provide upward mobility to a Manager or Director slot. The position will combine your earlier design engineering experience with your project management and strategic business skills.
Candidate Information: We are seeking a BS Engineering with 5+ years experience in product design. Particular interest will be given to candidates whose products have strong marketing components and inputs. Our client is also seeking a combination of leadership and project management skills that will allow this person to drive projects forward.

We have been retained by this Pottstown/Reading area manufacturer to identify candidates for a VP of Operations position. Our client is a locally based manufacturer of high-volume products and is seeking someone for a leadership role in their manufacturing area. Reporting to the President, this job will manage production (150 hourlies), quality, maintenance, distribution/supply chain and manufacturing/project engineering, through the appropriate managers and supervisors. You will work directly with the President to insure continuation of their aggressive lean manufacturing program.
Job Requirements: Our client is seeking 15+ years of production management experience in small to mid-sized firms. You should be able to manage in a non-union, highly matrixed environment and should be able to demonstrate leadership in lean implementation. BS/BA required. BS Engineering or MBA a strong plus.

Our Client: My client is a stable, growing manufacturer of specially machined components. They sell to a wide variety of industries and product high-margin, specialized products on demand. This position will report to the VP of Operations and will be responsible for supervising both operations and planning. On the operations side, it will be responsible for over 100 hourlies through the appropriate supervisors. On the planning/engineering side, it will manage a team of IE's and Planners that support manufacturing on the technical and systems side. Part of your job will include working with the VP Ops and other members of the executive team on lean manufacturing projects.
Job Requirements: We need 10+ years of manufacturing management experience in a CNC, machine shop production environment coupled with the ability to establish effective systems and procedures within your team. You should also have the type of background that might lead to promotion in the future to a VP/GM role.

Our Client: Our client is a growing manufacturer located in the Lehigh Valley suburbs. We are seeking someone to manage their production control and inventory control areas. This position will manage 7-10 planners in an ERP, lean manufacturing environment. We want someone who will manage the day-to-day activities of their department as well as get involved in more strategic issues. This would be an excellent job for someone who wants to join a locally based firm and who is promotable beyond this job at least one more level upward.
Job Requirements: We need a BS/BA degree with at least 10+ years experience in sophisticated materials, production control or inventory control role. You should have at least 5 years of supervisory experience. APICS and/or lean certifications are a strong plus.

Marketing Manager Product Manager Consumer Durables, Philadelphia Area

Our Client: This position will have total product marketing responsibility for a new product line and will eventually grow into a Manager or Director of Marketing role. You will be responsible for all advertising, dealer and distributor management, packaging, trade show and related decisions and will interface heavily with sales, product development and other senior managers. My growing manufacturing client has reached the stage where they are ready to start and expand a formal marketing department and this position is tasked with working with the President in creating and growing this function. As a Marketing Manager, you will take over the management of an exciting and key new product and will expand your role into other products as that project comes to completion. This is an exceptional opportunity for the skilled marketing professional to skip a few steps on the corporate ladder and ride my client's coat-tails to a senior management position.
Job Requirements: We need at least 8 years of professional marketing experience; market analysis, market research, product management, advertising, trade shows, etc. Ideally, your experience will include high end consumer products or services and you will have experience in selling through distributors or dealers. Ability to manage multimillion dollar budgets is key.

Electrical Engineering Manager, Delaware Valley         

Our Client: My client is a manufacturer of unique equipment and process systems for a wide variety of industries. They have asked us to identify a key person in their technology group. We are seeking a BS Electrical Engineer with 10+ years experience in controls and automation engineering. This person will manage a small group of engineers responsible for the design and support of new systems for delivery to clients. You will work as both a senior engineer and group manager and will also have significant client contact in this job.

Job Requirements: We are seeking 10+ years experience in the design and project engineering of industrial controls. Your technical skills should include programmable controllers; PLC's as well as microprocessor based embedded software and hardware. This would be an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Engineer to move into management.

Production Manager, Philadelphia Suburbs

Our Client: We have been retained by this suburban Philadelphia Company to identify candidates for this unique position. Our client is a small manufacturer of unique electronic and electrical products that has aggressively embraced lean manufacturing and continuous process improvement. They are seeking a manager who can effectively manage, empower and upgrade a non-union workforce in this self contained manufacturing operation. You will supervise production and work through team leaders but your shop-floor presence will be constant. You will work with their in-house manufacturing engineering area and will spearhead lean and efficiency improvement projects.

Job Requirements: We need 8+ years of supervision and management in electronics or electrical assembly and strong lean manufacturing, continuous process improvement and six sigma credentials. You should be capable of working as a Product Manager with good strategic skills but also be tactical and hands-on enough to fit into a small company.


Marketing Manager /Sales Manager, Reading Area

Our Client: My client is a growing manufacturer of unique, high-value consumer products. New product launches have led to the creation of a new position tasked with managing the marketing and sales effort for these new products. You will report to the President and will work with him in creating, implementing and evaluating new marketing tools and sales delivery systems. Your responsibilities will be diverse and will include collateral material creation, management/selection of in-house or agency creative teams and supervision of a small, growing sales group. You will be responsible for driving the growth of a key series of new products that have already successfully been released. It will be your job to maximize product acceptance and growth and to develop methods to evaluate and increase sales.
Job Requirements: We need 8+ years of experience in marketing and/or sales management in a consumer related product. You should have experience in advertising agency management and the supervision and selection of a creative team. Your experience and drive should allow you to function as a top executive in a growing company. My client's President is a firm believer in the importance of marketing and does not see it as just an extension of sales. You should have strong analytical skills coupled with the energy to drive new projects forward. You should understand that the value of market research is a direct function of your energy in implementing and executing plans. Your budgetary responsibility and support will be significant and, personally, you should have no fear of failure. My client takes a long-term view and understands that marketing can be a trial/error oriented discipline where mistakes can be educational.
