Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance Associate, Lancaster Area Client/Job Info: My growing medical device client has asked us to fill a newly created slot in their Quality and Regulatory Affairs group. This position will focus on CAPA issues and will deal with every department within the organization. It will handle all FDA submissions and will play a key role in complaint investigations. Working in co-ordination with other quality assurance people, this job will participate in all audit activities. A constant flow of new products will keep you active. Candidate Requirements: We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Quality Assurance generalist with at least 3 years experience in medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals. You should be comfortable wearing many hats and should interface well with R&D, executive level management and operations. FDA and CAPA and submissions experience are required.

Client/Job Info: My client is a suburban Philadelphia based manufacturer of consumer and commercial electronic systems. As a small but growing technology firm, they have reached a key stage in product shipments and volume. This growth has created the need to add a key member of their engineering staff. They have decided to "in source" the mechanical engineering and design component of their engineering effort. This opening is a direct result of their success in transitioning from a "R&D" environment to a "product" environment. This unique position will require both hands-on design and CAD skills with your ability to manage projects, and eventually personnel. You will be responsible for all mechanical input and decisions on product design issues and will work closely with vendors and internal assembly on tooling and related issues. Initially responsibilities will be highly hands-on as you focus on current product design and manufacturing improvements. After completion of the initial projects, you be become involved in planning on new product features and designs. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, this position will provide a strong career track.
Candidate Requirements: This position will require 5+ years of broad experience (tooling and product design) in an electronic product. Experience in sheet metal, electronic packaging and injection molded parts is essential. This growing company needs someone with a good engineer's, hands-on attitude who can eventually be a part of the management team as the group grows. Client/Job Info: My client is an electronics division of a world-class, international manufacturing firm. Increased budgets in their R&D area have created multiple needs for software engineers. Their complex, highly technical products integrate almost every engineering discipline from software to hardware to mechanical design to optics. You must be able to perform in a highly skilled, multi-discipline team and will work with other software engineers, hardware engineers and mechanical engineers on product development projects.
Candidate Requirements: We are seeking 3+ years embedded software development with either embedded C/datacom experience or 3+ years in Visual C++/MFC software development with an emphasis on product engineering. Any exposure to optics, vision systems, cameras would be a plus but are not required.
Mechanical Engineer, Western Philadelphia Suburbs
Client/Job Information: We have been asked by this stable, 70 year old manufacturing firm to identify candidates for this newly created job in their organization. As an established, privately held manufacturer of capital goods, they have survived this downturn well and are investing in new products and markets. This position will involve all aspects of product design and project engineering. You will work with clients to determine product specifications and will design new systems or enhance existing products to meet their specs. Your responsibilities will broaden beyond design to include the management of simultaneous projects that can range anywhere from $5,000 to $500,000 in dollar volume.
Candidate Specifications: We would like 2+ years of design engineering and project engineering experience on an engineered product. Knowledge of mechanical systems (piping, ductwork, heat/thermodynamics, etc) are helpful but this job is very well suited for a BSME with common sense and strong general engineering and project skills.

Candidate Specifications: We are seeking a BS Mechanical Engineer 5+ years of engineering experience that is focused on product development and product enhancements. However, this job will not tie you to a CAD terminal. You should be as comfortable working with an MS, ME as you are with a machinist on the shop-floor. Your communications skills and personality should allow you to work in a matrixed, highly decentralized culture and you should be capable of being promoted beyond this job.
